THE HISTORY

Uncle's Shop story unfolds over a century ago, when founding father Late Mr. Uttamchand Bhatia (Popularly remembered as Vattra) set up a modest family business in Gulf & India. With an unswerving commitment to offer the best in value and quality to every customer, the ambitious Bhatia worked assiduously to realize his vision & soon became very confident of the Late Rulers of Dubai H.H. Shaikh Saeed bin Maktoum Al Maktoum & Late H.H. Shaikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum. He was also instrumental in acquiring land from H.H. Shaikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum for The Indian High School - Dubai, Indian Sports Club - Dubai and the old Temple in Bur Dubai.

Today over 100 years and four generations later in Dubai, the legacy of principles and values instilled in the Bhatia family continues to be the foundation for Uncle's Shop. With Head Quarters is in Dubai, U.A.E. we are one of the oldest Business House in the region having established in 1922 and have our branch office in India. Uncle's Shop also has its presence in the Gulf, Middle East, Iraq and Africa - powering Core Industries in the region. With over 10 Decade of experience, we’ve designed it all.

Uncle's Shop caters to varied industries with focused divisions created to serve the targeted industry. The division further operates through autonomous business units designed to serve the customers. The Industry segments focused thereon are : Aluminum, Structural Steel, Stainless Steel, Hot & Cold Rolled, Galvanized Steel, Pipes, Metals, Oil Field, Plywood, Timber, Wood, James Hardie Fiber Cement Boards, Visaka Fiber Cement Boards, SuntaiFuji Calcium Silicate Boards, Green Energy, Petrochemical. We have always set the trends, defined the market place and achieved our glory. 

The operations of the Divisions are governed by Group’s founder members ethos and policies developed and bench marked against the best over a period of time to keep line with internationally accepted principles and follows The Social Norms and practices of the markets we operate in.
